History:
Polarstar was first known as Snowflake when he was a kittypet. He was part of a litter including three other cats that all came from a home with very abusive twolegs. All his siblings weren't intelligent enough to realize what was going on. Snowflake was the only kit who had wishes of escaping which in return, saved his life while his siblings were beaten to death.
Snowflake had successfully gotten away, but now had no idea where to go. He had no idea that there were clans in the forest until he found Frostclan. He wasn't welcomed the first time he treaded on their territory, but eventually became an apprentice. He was taught the warrior code and many other useful techniques such as hunting and fighting.
Polarpaw soon became Polarwisp who was known as a great warrior, so his leader let him have his first apprentice. Her name was Snowflakepaw, which seemed very ironic to him. He taught her all he knew and was always open to questions. He was such a good mentor that Snowflakepaw became a warrior within two moons. He was very proud the day she received her warrior name, Snowflakeclaw.
Three moons later, the deputy of Frostclan had to retire from old age. Polarwisp thought this was a perfect chance for him to be an even better warrior, by becoming deputy. But many cats disagreed. They still had feelings against the fact that he was a kittypet and one point in his life. So another cat was chosen.
Dogs attacked. Not very long after the new deputy was appointed either. They killed many of the cats in the clan, including Snowflakeclaw and the deputy, giving the rest the worst of injuries. Polarwisp was hurt pretty bad, but the medicine cat had told him that he would survive. Although the leader was nearly ripped to shreds in the struggle, and dying.
She called Polarwisp to her bed in the medicine cat's den one day, apologizing for not letting him be deputy before. She agreed to let him be deputy now and explained she was about to die any day. He agreed to the responsibility as leader.
Appearance:
Polarstar is a strong cat with very-visible muscles. He has a sleek, snow-colored pelt. His tail is wispy with a more creamy color than the rest of his fur. His muzzle is black and he has indigo-blue eyes that can seem an icy-blue when he is angry.
Polarstar does have a few scars. Most of which are somewhat fresh in his mind from the dog attack. He has one right across his nose about two inches long. He also has a long scar that curves down his back as a reminder of his kithood. Polarstar doesn't have any known birthmarks.
Personality:
Polarstar tries to do what he thinks is right most of the time and is usually a sucker for some persuasion. He is always sympathetic to other cats, especially kittypets. He tries to be very professional most of the time and isn't a trouble maker. However, he does get distracted easily and he has a sense of humor that can cause him to laugh in any situation.
Polarstar does get stressed very easily, being the clan leader and all. So sometimes, he goes bounding through the snow for a while to clear his head. His favorite place to venture to is the Snowy Mountains. He's always in the mood for a delicious snow rabbit. He has a deathly fear of twolegs now. They are his least favorite topic of conversation and he will get touchy on the subject.
Polarstar is a caring leader who lives for his clan. He is fiercely loyal and would die in Frostclan's name. He does all he can for the clan, but will never do anything for himself that involves twolegs or having to be near them. He has coped well with the fact that he was once a kittypet and nobody ever really mentions it anymore.

That should work. Polarstar thought as he slowly secured a bramble thicket in the entrance of the camp. Since the times of the dog attacks, Frostclan had been left very weak and he felt like it was up to him and only him to keep those things from happening again, so he had taken on more duties around the camp. Suddenly, his stomach growled. He had completely forgotten to eat.
He padded over to the fresh-kill pile, to find it was empty. I should see if any cats want to go for a hunt. He poked his head in the warrior's den to see who he could take with him. Once he had about four warriors, they set off. I promise to be the best leader this clan has ever seen. he silently vowed, looking ahead.
